Speed–wear trade-off

Higher rotor speed increases fines and wear; lower speed eases wear but raises oversize. Adjust in small increments, one variable at a time.

Tuning S1/S2

• Too coarse? Tighten S1 first; use S2 to relieve secondary loading.
• Uneven wear? Re-check symmetry after liner changes; settled liners shift effective gaps.

Feed, fines & moisture

Center the feed and pre-screen fines. Use only enough water for dust control; avoid slurry accumulation in the chamber.
